The Role: Retail Trainer
At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for an engaged and passionate Retail Trainer who can join our Global Retail Team at the Stone Island HQ in Milan.
Reporting to the Retail Training Manager, the Retail Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving global retail training strategies to enhance performance, client experience, product knowledge and Brand’s values across all markets. This role partners closely with both headquarters and regional teams to ensure training initiatives and strategies are aligned with global business objectives and brand standards.
Your Impact
- Design, develop and implement global retail training programs according to business priorities.
- Deliver face to face and virtual training sessions for store and regional teams.
- Act as a global reference point for retail training excellence, ensuring consistency across regions together with local needs and specificities.
- Train and coach regional trainers.
- Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, mystery shopping results, and performance analysis.
- Support new store openings and key retail projects with tailored training programs.
- Update training materials and methodologies with innovative learning approaches.
- Ensure regular training presence in store across all markets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail training or learning & development.
- Proven experience in training needs analysis, design, delivery and follow-up in international environments.
- Strong background in retail excellence.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to influence, engage and work with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable training initiatives.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
