PuPosition : /u Technical Support Specialist - Part Time /ppuLocation : /u West Palm Beach, FL /ppuJob Id : /u IT 7.25.2025 /ppbOpenings : /b 1 /ppbPosition Description : /b /ppThe Technical Support Specialist ensures proper computer operations for end users to accomplish organizational tasks effectively and efficiently. This role involves receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve diagnostics, help request tracking tools, and hands-on desktop support. /ppbResponsibilities : /b /polliProactively monitor and support end user hardware and software needs promptly. /liliPrioritize workload to resolve critical issues first. /liliInstall, upgrade, and configure hardware and software. /liliAssist in testing new hardware and software before deployment. /liliConfigure, monitor, and maintain mobile security and virus protection software. /liliMaintain hardware and software inventories. /liliInstall, configure, and troubleshoot content management systems. /liliManage web environments, including maintenance, security, testing, and content updates. /liliBackup support for VOIP phone systems, cellphones, printers, and copiers. /liliDevelop and maintain user documentation for help desk support. /liliEnsure equipment remains operational through repairs and following manufacturer instructions. /liliMaintain confidentiality of organizational information. /liliEnhance job knowledge through education, reading, and networking. /liliEnsure compliance with regulations like HIPAA and licensing agreements. /liliParticipate in disaster preparedness and data security protocols. /li /olpbRequirements : /b /ppHigh School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT preferred. At least 2 years’ experience in a tech support role, with knowledge of Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint), operating systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
