Greentalent, a recruitment firm specialized in the search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering, and Environment sectors, on behalf of a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) operating in the energy sector, is looking for a:Head of Biomethane Operations The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.They bring extensive experience in the biomethane sector, with deep knowledge of the industry value chain, key market players, and relevant stakeholders.They will lead the development and operation of biomethane assets across Italy, driving project execution, operational efficiency, and the creation of value for the company while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.Main Responsibilities: Propose and collaborate in defining and implementing the strategy, objectives, and budget for regional Construction, Operations, Maintenance, QSE, and technical teams across Italy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategy.Ensure the delivery of defined objectives by monitoring KPIs, forecasting activities, analysing P&L, and defining corrective actions, with monthly reporting.Coordinate and control projects and services, optimizing resource allocation to ensure compliance with requirements, profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Oversee cost management and invoicing of ongoing projects and services, analysing deviations and implementing preventive measures to guarantee on‐time and on‐budget delivery.Identify and implement process and system improvements to create synergies, efficiencies, and achieve strategic objectives across the business.Act as Guardian of Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Lead and coordinate teams under direct and indirect responsibility, supervising People & Culture policies to ensure employee motivation, well‐being, and development.Support M&A activities by providing technical and operational insights to evaluate acquisition or asset rotation opportunities aligned with Capwatt's objectives.Foster a working culture focused on value generation, rapid decision‐making, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.Serve as a member of the management team, responsible for operations, maintenance, construction, quality, safety, and environmental matters.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership roles in the energy sector.Deep knowledge of the biomethane value chain, key players, and stakeholders.Proven experience in project management and complex project delivery.Completing the profile, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strategic vision, analytical and problem‐solving mindset, results‐oriented approach, and the ability to drive operational excellence while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Location: Northern Italy.Aegis guarantees equal opportunities (L. 903/77) - Aegis Srl, AUT.
