Summary of the Role

At Nordson Precision Agriculture (formerly known as Arag ), you will join our R&D; Mechanical Engineering team to design and develop individual components (plastic parts, sheet metal, turned/machined components), manage assemblies and ensure the effective governance of our PDM system.
You will operate in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to product design quality, data reliability and process efficiency.
This is a permanent position based in Rubiera (Italy), reporting directly to the Mechanical Engineering Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Designer & PDM Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Designing mechanical components, assemblies and sub-assemblies
Creating and updating 3D models, drawings, BOMs and technical documentation
Ensuring proper governance of the PDM system (workflows, codifications, revisions, data structure)
Supporting the standardization of components, modules and design methodologies
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth release of product documentation
Contributing to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within R&D;
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical background)
