Join Amazon Healthcare Finance Operations Services as a Revenue Cycle Manager focused on transforming healthcare financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in optimizing revenue cycle management, with particular emphasis on back‑end revenue cycle processes such as billing, collections, denial management, and overall Accounts Receivable (AR) management. You will design and implement innovative programs to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials, and enhance overall collections. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will develop scalable solutions that support Amazon Health’s continued growth, leveraging data‑driven insights to identify opportunities, implement industry best practices, and drive operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, demonstrates exceptional analytical capabilities, and has a proven track record of driving process excellence and financial improvements.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Oversee a comprehensive portfolio of revenue cycle initiatives, focusing primarily on enhancing back‑end revenue cycle efficiency, accuracy, and automation to reduce denials and improve collections.
• Build strong operational partnerships and leverage data analytics to identify process defects that contribute to denials, then design and implement innovative solutions to eliminate these challenges.
• Contribute to new front‑end tools and emerging AI initiatives, exploring robotic process automation (RPA) to remove low‑value work tasks.
• Develop and execute detailed process‑improvement plans emphasizing standardization, scalability, and automation, with specific focus on time‑of‑service collections, claim denial reduction, customer satisfaction metrics, and minimizing bad‑debt write‑offs.
• Represent accounts receivable interests in upstream projects, partnering with business stakeholders on optimization efforts and developing strategic recommendations to support system design and automation initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functionally to analyze data drivers, develop comprehensive insights, and present clear, actionable findings to key stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
* 5+ years of finance experience, or a Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience.
* 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits).
* 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, determining root causes, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
* 6+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience in a hospital or physician provider setting.
* 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
Location and Compensation
USA, VA, Arlington – $95,400.00 – $163,200.00 USD annually.
The base salary range for this position is listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
