For the Italian production plant of Janssen (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for a Finance Supervisor. Latina is the Launch & Growth site within the Janssen Supply Chain. Our organization is a leveraged structure that supports multiple departments and partners across the J&J companies, improving the lives of patients and deliver results that go above and beyond! This role is defined as Finance Supervisor for all process, initiatives and projects in Italy/Latina. The primary responsibility is to provide financial guidance and counsel to business partners and finance staff as it delivers on its financial commitments. These commitments are both long term and short term in nature. This individual will support in prioritizing key initiatives to achieve these goals. Ensures that appropriate financial processes are followed. Other activities include identifying and implementing finance improvements in execution consistent with Signifi initiatives and leading sector - level operational improvements on an ad hoc basis. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Forecast and updates with focus on: - Volume and Absorption, ensuring the correct alignment with S&OP process. - Projection and Control of Spending (SG&A) including Allocations (local and regional) and Depreciation. - Cost Analysis, explaining the key variance drivers (material, conversion cost, depreciation, etc). - Routing and hours analysis, STD cost impacts per company and per SKU split by LABOR, variable and fixed overheads; - Provide insight and commentary on manufacturing variances. - Preparation of consolidated financial documentation at subsidiary and parent company levels. - Create and review financial models, providing meaningful information driving the decision make process. - Lead different initiatives in order to find CIPs and strengthen process among the site. - Assist in SOX and other compliance testing activities. - Attend all compliance requirements with excellence without major findings (CIA, External Audit, Tax, etc.). - Collaborate with Sector and Enterprise CoEs to ensure comprehensive finance support is provided at plant level. - Coordinates the daily activities of financial support staff. - Skilled communicator in English required (Italian is a plus). - Experienced in Agile/ Scrum methodologies desirable. Qualifications: Education: Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting/Economy/Engineering. Experience and Skills: Required: - Required Years of Related Experience: Minimum 5 years of significant experience in Finance; - Fluency in English, Italian language helpful; - Experience working with multiple collaborators; - Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities effectively; - Deliver presentations and processes to a diverse audience (Finance and non Finance) Other: - 10% Travel percentage - national and/or international.
