Sales Expert for Contract Logistics

This role is perfect for those who can tackle situations analytically, think outside the box, and have a strong aptitude for sales.


Your Role:

* You will be responsible for seeking and building customer relationships with a focus on contract logistics.
* As a Sales Expert at our Assago (MI) HO, you will have pipeline ownership for the Italian cluster.

The ideal candidate will drive the size, quality, and accuracy of their pipeline for contract logistics. A key metric will be the hit rate for new business wins, which you will be responsible for ensuring through the project evaluation process.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base.
* Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities; coordinate business generation activities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company while maintaining client satisfaction.
* Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet objectives.


Requirements:

* A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets in Logistics Field.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* In-depth understanding of sales principles, practices, and customer relationship management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High level of self-motivation and drive to achieve goals.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Professional proficiency in written and oral communication in English.
