Ph3Overview /h3pWe are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Plant Director to join our company who will play a key role in managing the Fine Chemicals plant in Aprilia, ensuring the production of high-quality products in compliance with company regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), health, safety and environmental standards. /ppThe role include also ensuring efficient production according to volumes, costs, timelines and quality standards, optimizing resources, designing and upgrading facilities and technologies, and ensuring compliance with legislation and guidelines for the distribution of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). /ppFuture challenges include adapting to advanced manufacturing technologies like automation, robotics and AI, which will transform production and require workforce upskilling. /ppThe Plant Director will also embrace digitalization and data analytics to optimize processes and decision-making. /ppMoreover the rise of personalized medicine will demand greater flexibility in production for smaller, targeted drug batches, while ensuring regulatory compliance in an increasingly digitalized and complex environment. /ph3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine and propose the Plant operations budget to the upper management, ensuring that all activities are carried out within the expected timeframes and cost parameters; /liliLead cultural change across the organization, aligning with Angelini's core values and behaviors; /liliDevelop and propose the annual technical investment plan for new development projects, technological upgrades of buildings, equipment, production, laboratories and general plant maintenance. Ensure these initiatives aim to improve production efficiency, effectiveness, environmental sustainability, and safety standards; /liliEnsure approved investment projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications and regulations. Co-lead forums to support production, new launches, and continuous improvement. Ensure plant production meets volume, yield, and quality targets in line with company standards, schedules, and budget; /liliOversee the effective management of plant warehouses, ensuring optimal acceptance, storage, and handling processes in compliance with established quality, safety procedures, and relevant legal regulations; /liliFoster operational excellence by cultivating employee management, developing high technical competence, and enhancing leadership skills in accordance with the guidelines set by the Global HR; /liliCollaborate with HR in people management, including budget planning, industrial relations, performance and salary reviews, continuous monitoring, and employee development; /liliMaintain strong relationships with local communities, regulatory bodies, and governmental agencies; /liliEnsure the implementation of corrective actions to address observations raised during regulatory inspections, particularly those related to production processes; /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliScientific degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biology; /lili10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing management; /liliStrong knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health Safety) standards and best practices; /liliSolid understanding of key industry regulations; /liliPrevious experience in Quality or Supply Chain areas (preferred); /liliFamiliarity with FDA requirements (preferred); /liliProficiency in English; /liliAbility to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment; /liliStrong stakeholder management skills across diverse and heterogeneous groups; /liliProven leadership capabilities with experience in managing, developing, and motivating teams. /li /ulpbAngelini Pharma is an equal Opportunity Employer. /b /ppWe believe that diversity is a huge value that contributes to individual and company success.
