About the Role
As a Travel Advisor, you will partner with our guests to make every journey legendary. You will own the entire reservation processfrom inspiration and booking to post-stay follow-up. Working closely with our hotel and service teams, you'll personalize each trip, ensuring guest preferences are captured and perfectly executed. You will be a true expert on the entire Belmond portfolio, able to manage any guest query and deliver on our promise of 24/7 world-class service.
What You'll Do
1. Act as a Sales Champion: Expertly describe, promote, and sell the entire Belmond portfolio (hotels, trains, and cruises) to convert inquiries into bookings.
2. Manage Guest Inquiries: Own the full reservation lifecycle for all guest and customer queries, responding promptly and meeting service level targets (SLA) in our Salesforce system.
3. Personalize the Guest Experience: Understand the "why" behind each trip, tailoring recommendations and personalizing stays based on guest motivations and preferences.
4. Enhance Every Stay: Proactively upsell and suggest add-ons such as room upgrades, transfers, and unique experiences to make each journey unforgettable.
5. Master Our Systems: Use our technology (Salesforce, HMS, Travel Studio) to accurately capture guest data, maintain clean profiles, and ensure all information is up-to-date.
6. Meet Your Goals: Achieve assigned targets for sales conversion, data capture, and response times.
7. Be a Brand Ambassador: Demonstrate and be a role model for Belmonds values in every interaction.
Requirements
8. Proven experience in a luxury reservations, guest relations, or sales-focused role.
9. A natural talent for sales, with a track record of meeting conversion targets and upselling.
10. Warm, professional, and confident communication skills, both on the phone and in writing.
11. Strong computer literacy, with experience in CRM (Salesforce is a plus) and reservation systems.
12. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
13. A collaborative, team-player mindset.
14. Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency in other languages (e.g., Italian, Spanish, French) is highly desirable.
