The purpose of this position is to provide professional IT support to all customers, internal and external, within the assigned geographic region.
Your missions will be :
* Work with the global Field Services, Applications, and Infrastructure Teams to identify, analyze, and resolve IT issues in a timely fashion.
* Participate in projects as directed by the IT Field Services Manager.
* Independently and as part of a team, identify and implement IT and business process enhancements.
* Manage IT vendors, which may be local, regional, or global, and participate in vendor governance activities.
* Engage in cost control activities, including creating purchase requisitions.
You will also :
* Respond professionally to all customer requests for assistance.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and thoroughly document reported problems.
* Provide timely updates to customers within established SLA’s.
* Perform adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenance on computers, telephones, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and repair software and hardware errors or problems.
* Ensure network connectivity for LAN, wireless, and VPN access and troubleshoot issues.
* Manage local and regional IT asset inventory, ensuring compliance with MKS standards.
* Conduct IT onboarding activities for new employees.
* Support office and workstation setup and relocations.
* Travel as needed to support all sites within the geographic area.
Your profile :
* Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in IT technical support.
* Full professional proficiency in English.
* IT technical certifications are a plus.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written.
* Focus on providing excellent customer service.
* A proven track record of accomplishments and strong interpersonal skills are required.
