Job Title: Technical Field Specialist
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing service issues on equipment in the field in a timely manner. Your expertise in startup processes at customer sites and providing comprehensive training will enable customers to optimize their equipment usage. Additionally, you will perform customer retrofits in the field and PLC programming when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in the field.
* Perform startup procedures at customer sites.
* Provide training to customers on equipment maintenance and operation.
* Conduct customer retrofits in the field and PLC programming as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in field service with a strong background in electronics or related fields.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Able to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time) and work independently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment and Expectations:
* Able to safely lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
* Able to work on feet for extended periods and climb ladders as needed.
* Able to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
* High school graduate with an AA technical degree preferred.
* Familiarity with PLC programming using ladder logic.
* Knowledge of electrical circuits, fluid dynamics, and assembly techniques.
