As an HR Operational Advisor based in Milan, Italy, you will provide HR Generalist support to managers, employees, and HR colleagues across various EU countries. Your responsibilities include areas such as employment, compensation, employee relations, talent management, benefits, training, and employee/manager shared services. You will perform these duties personally or in collaboration with HR colleagues.
This role reports to an HR Operations Manager based in Germany. While supporting employees across multiple countries, the primary focus will be on Italy. Fluency in Italian and a professional level of English are required.
Responsibilities
* Provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers in areas such as handling employee relations, resolving concerns, and reducing risks. Ensure issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
* Contribute to the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Develop, create, and issue job offers.
* Manage all paperwork related to hiring, onboarding, job changes, and statutory documents.
* Interpret collective agreements and provide guidance accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations to minimize risks.
* Advise and guide managers on various employment matters.
* Deliver services with a process improvement mindset to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
* Build strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* Experience: Good generalist HR experience, capable of working at strategic and operational levels.
* Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and HR databases.
* Competencies: Strong communication skills, ability to interact at all levels, self-starter, independent worker, well-organized, adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
* Languages: Fluency in Italian and English; German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
