EMC Specialist
Responsibilities
The position is located within the Bentivoglio Research and Development Facility in the laboratory dedicated to electromagnetic compatibility testing.
It is vital for us to guarantee customers the technical and functional excellence of the applications we sell, in a market that demands increasingly higher quality standards.
The role involves the key activity of defining and carrying out electromagnetic compatibility tests on products developed within the Marposs group, with responsibility for conducting measurements, debugging, preparing and executing specific tests according to the standards currently in force for our products.
The person part of the laboratory team will be responsible not only for carrying out the tests foreseen by the main international standards, but also for the development of specific tools to facilitate the execution of the tests, debugging and solving any problems encountered on the products under test.
Profile
* Degree in Electronic, Automation, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electrotechnical Engineering
* Interpretation of the operation of even complex electronics.
* Ability to use the main laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analysers)
* Knowledge of Labview is an advantage
* Good knowledge of the English language
In addition, the ideal candidate must have good analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, good organisational skills with a spirit of initiative and adaptability in the face of problems and possible unforeseen events, as well as the ability to liaise profitably with all the bodies involved in the production process at different levels in order to integrate solutions into the company's workflow.
