About The Role As a Company Accounting Manager and Tax Compliance Expert, you will support the business performance of the Legal Entity by delivering reliable financial statements and providing advice in accounting and tax transactions, given the financial impact of the performance. You will contribute to compliance and have a positive impact on the Solvay group. Responsibilities Manage activities related to the preparation and control of the main tax and statutory obligations Audit accounts across the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss to ensure accuracy Guarantee local compliance and oversee internal controls; ensure corrective actions from audits are implemented Manage relations with the auditing company, statutory auditors, and external consultants Maintain a strong relationship with the Shared Services Centre Ensure Local Tax Compliance and inform/train stakeholders on changes in direct and indirect taxes Interact with the EMEA Corporate Tax Manager and external Tax Consultants during tax audits or inspections, deadlines, and budgeting analysis Prepare, file and submit Local Direct Taxes returns Manage tax reporting under IFRS and cash forecast Provide local support to the Shared Services Centre on Indirect Taxes (mainly VAT) Coordinate Local Transfer Pricing Documentation aligned with corporate figures We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.
