About the Role
The Field Sales team will be responsible for sales relations with existing customers as well as the development of new customers. The territory of coverage will be Central and South Italy, based out of the Campania area (Naples–Salerno - Caserta).
Performance Materials business manages building materials, paints and varnishes in the industrial sector, cement mortars and adhesives for the building sector, and additives for the plastic and rubber sectors.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for achieving results in terms of:
* Turnover
* Product mix per customer/zone
* Maintaining the economic/financial situation of customers
* Keeping constant communication with the customer service department (CSR)
* Seeking new customers and managing active customers
* Collaborating with product managers to expand their market knowledge and understanding of customer product usage, including quantities, prices, and competition
Qualifications and Required Skills
* Knowledge of specific industrial markets and raw materials
* Technical/commercial experience in the distribution of industrial and specialty chemicals (especially paints, varnishes, and building materials in the industrial sector)
* Fluent English (written and spoken) - Level B2-C1
* Ability to guide customers in choosing the most suitable products
* Strong results-oriented mindset
* Operational autonomy, excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize
* Entrepreneurial approach to managing one's own area
* Strong motivation, willingness to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and ability to work in both local and international contexts
* Willingness to travel - 50%
