PeoItaly is recruiting on behalf of a global industrial manufacturing group, a leader in the construction machinery sector with a strong international presence and a growing European R&D footprint.We are looking for a Test & Validation Enginee r who will play a key role in ensuring new products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance for the European market.You will manage the full testing and validation lifecycle of new machinery, from planning and execution to data analysis and technical reporting. This is a hands-on, technical role with strong exposure to international R&D teams, field testing, and real customer applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute validation plans (DVP&R) aligned with European market and regulatory requirementsPerform lab and field tests on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsLead testing activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracyAnalyze test results using engineering and statistical toolsPrepare detailed technical reports with clear conclusions and improvement recommendationsPresent validation outcomes to internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance with European directives and standards (e.g. Machinery Directive, EN standards)Maintain validation documentation for audits and certificationsSupport quality audits and corrective/preventive actionsWork closely with international R&D teams to provide feedback on design and reliabilityCollaborate with Product Management and Sales to translate customer needs into test casesCoordinate with suppliers and external testing facilitiesImprove test methodologies, tools, and processesPromote a strong safety culture at test sitesAnnual international assignment at the global R&D headquarters (approx. 2–3 months/year)Regular travel within Europe and the UK (up to 30%)RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field3+ years of experience in testing/validation within construction, agricultural, or heavy machineryStrong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsExperience with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, LabVIEW, Minitab)Ability to operate heavy machinery for testing purposesKnowledge of European regulations and standardsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsFluent English; additional European languages are a plusValid driving licenseExperience in international or cross-cultural R&D environmentsBackground in reliability engineeringWhat's in It for YouCompetitive salary and benefitsExposure to a global, technology-driven organizationInternational collaboration and career growth opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
