Requirements
* Experience working with Microsoft Windows Administrator, Server Administrator, and Asset Management
* Must possess a Security+ Certification
* Must be a U.S. citizen
Personnel Clearance Level
* Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher
Education Requirements
* High School diploma or GED at minimum with 8+ years of specialized experience in Information Technology
* Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology with 6+ years of specialized experience
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology with 4+ years of specialized experience
Essential Job Duties
* Install and configure software and hardware to include desktops, laptops, and operating systems.
* Manage networks, user accounts, and troubleshooting
* Asset management: Tech refresh / life cycle of equipment / inventory / RDT (DRMO)
* Control and manage network IP address space, Domain Name System, Network Directory, and messaging services.
* Design effective communication plans to publicize unit program requirements, associated policies, and procedures
* Support 7 Reconnaissance Squadron and tenant units with IT solutions for support when necessary.
* Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to AFNet operations (ex. SIPR, NIPR, VOSIP, VOIP, mIRC Chat, HAIPE devices)
* Follow all Air Force policies/guidance and contact 31 CS/Wing Cyberspace Office for additional guidance
* Serve as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices
* Provide accurate and factual information to the commander(s)/director(s), key staff, and customers
* Establish controls and suspense dates and follow up to ensure that required actions and responses are made within deadlines
Salary Range
$50,000 - $70,000 annually.
