Quojobis The Obsolescence Engineer will act as interface between different stakeholders within the international NAS Business Segment for all the obsolescence management activities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Preliminary evaluation of End of Life (EOL) and Product Change Notification (PCN) impacts on production - Identification and proposal of alternative components, both leveraging component data library already available and searching new parts comparing technical specifications. - Liaise with cross-functional contributors and different stakeholders within Engineering, Industry, Supply Chain and Procurement teams to identify the most suitable solution - Contribute in the population and maintenance of the obsolescence database - Track and monitor the status of the agreed corrective actions during the overall obsolescence management process flow, from the obsolesce notification to the resolution - Proactively contribute to Obsolescence Management process improvements - Perform periodic analysis of the Bill of Materials (BoM) of the products to anticipate and proactively address new potential obsolescences to minimize impact on business - Set up and elaborate periodic reports related to the obsolescence status of the boards to support customer requests and management decisions - Elaborate and monitor KPI related to the obsolescence management process EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor Degree in Engineering field (ideally Electronic) or equivalent qualification - Previous experience in electronic international companies as component engineer or similar roles is valuable - Ability to interface, collaborate and liaise with a wide range of different stakeholder in an international company - Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills - Some experience in collecting, reviewing and manipulating data is valuable - Fluent spoken and written English - IT savvy - Open to challenges Settore: Industria aerospaziale Ruolo: Ingegneria/Progettazione Tipo di occupazione: Lavoro a tempo indeterminato
