Join the new Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization, a co-located and process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the organization with subject matter experts.
The organization embeds engineering expertise into the manufacturing value stream to enable faster decision-making, deeper process ownership, and knowledge sharing.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize training material within the Handling & Logistics process
Analyze current (AS IS) and future state of training materials and systems
Create process roadmaps and plans for future states
Define training material requirements and specifications for internally developed or externally created material
Standardize generic layup training materials
Contribute to building a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility
Investigate and solve training issues using structured methods (e.g., 5x Why, FishboneDiagrams)
Apply continuous improvement principles using Lean tools to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final training material quality
EducationBachelor of Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Train the Trainer or equivalent training education
Experience6-8 years developing training material mainly for unskilled workers
Experience training shop floor employees
Experience planning training for up to 100 persons
Developed/defined functional training material for employees with varied education levels
Essential skillsAbility to assess skill gaps and define learning objectives aligned with business goals
Knowledge of adult learning principles, blended learning, and experiential training formats
Collaboration with engineering managers and subject matter experts to co-develop content
Ensure training aligns with ISO standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
Familiarity with LMS and e-learning tools
Gather input from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve programs
Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand and solve problems
Data-driven decision-making; use of tools like 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and highly organized
Ability to work across cultures and time zones with stakeholders
Part of cross-functional product development projects
Customer-oriented with understanding of the full business value chain
