Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned IT Application Technical Analyst & Administrator to support and continuously improve Greif’s global enterprise application landscape, with a primary focus on Infor ERP LN and its ecosystem. This role sits within the Global Applications Technical Support team. The main responsibility is operational excellence (run & optimize) of business‑critical systems, with contributions to ongoing improvements, automation, and selected project initiatives. We seek proactive individuals who take ownership, show initiative, and drive results beyond assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of assigned application areas within ERP LN and related platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and performance issues.
- Drive root‑cause analysis and ensure sustainable fixes are implemented.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance with SLA and DR requirements.
- Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, or automate recurring operational activities.
- Contribute to enhancing system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Explore and leverage modern technologies, including AI and low‑code tools, to improve support and efficiency.
- Support and maintain Infor ERP LN, Infor OS, ION, LN UI, and related platforms.
- Actively support technical implementation and enhancement activities.
- Work closely with Integration, Development, and Infrastructure teams to support and improve end‑to‑end solutions.
- Provide technical input during changes, upgrades, and project activities.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience with Infor ERP LN in a technical implementation & administration role.
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix and Oracle databases – strongly preferred.
- Ownership mindset – takes responsibility and drives issues to resolution.
- Proactive approach – identifies problems and improvements and takes action.
- Hands‑on and pragmatic – able to operate effectively in an operational environment.
- Continuous learning – interest in new technologies, including AI and automation.
- Collaboration – works well across teams and cultures.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or DevOps practices.
- Exposure to AI‑assisted tools/agents or low‑code platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL or structured support environments.
Important Note
This is a technical role requiring proven hands‑on experience with Infor ERP LN in a technical implementation or admin role. Candidates without relevant ERP LN experience or with primarily junior profiles will not be considered.
