Transform.If you thrive in the details and the big picture, this role is for you.Quickparts is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure the operational continuity and efficiency of our entire Italy facility. You will be responsible for preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance across all production systems, including 3D printing, CNC machining, injection moulding, and vacuum casting. You will work closely with the Production Manager, Quality Manager, and Department Team Leaders, actively contributing to continuous improvement and cost‐saving initiatives.Why This Role Matters Ensure maximum uptime across a diverse range of advanced manufacturing systemsDrive continuous improvement and cost‐saving initiativesSupport facility safety and compliance with health and safety regulationsServe as a key partner to Production, Quality, and Department Team LeadersActively manage and resolve mechanical, electrical, and facility issues What You'll Do Carry out preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on 3D printing machines (SLA, SLS, DLP, and DMP systems)Manage the Preventive Maintenance Plan in line with manufacturer‐specified cycles and parametersDiagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and optical faults on production systems and respond promptly to minimise downtimeCalibrate machine process parameters and manage the Additive Manufacturing spare parts inventory, collaborating with procurementLiaise with OEMs and technical service providers (e.G., 3D Systems, EOS, Stratasys, Desktop Metal) for specialist interventionsPerform maintenance on CNC machining centres, injection moulding presses, and vacuum casting systemsEnsure the correct operation of general facility systems (electrical, pneumatic, air conditioning, process fluids)Coordinate and supervise external contractors and maintenance providersVerify compliance with health and safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/2008) and manage PPE and workshop safety proceduresManage fault reports through the internal ticketing system and update technical plant documentationParticipate in continuous improvement projects, Root Cause Analysis, and monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, machine availability, costs)Support the implementation of predictive maintenance practices (condition monitoring, vibration analysis, thermography) What We're Looking For Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance roles, preferably in advanced or high‐technology manufacturing environmentsIn‐depth knowledge of at least one 3D printing technology (SLA, SLS, DLP, DMP) with direct hands‐on experience highly preferredSolid mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance skills on industrial machineryWorking knowledge of CNC systems (3/5‐axis) and associated maintenance; familiarity with injection moulding/vacuum casting is a plusAbility to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation in Italian and EnglishFamiliarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS / GMAO) and maintenance planning toolsKnowledge of workplace health and safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/2008)Strong problem‐solving mindset, flexibility to work outside normal hours for breakdowns, and a results‐oriented approachTechnical‐level English (ability to read manuals and communicate with international suppliers)Specific technical certifications on AM systems (e.G., 3D Systems Certified Technician, EOS Service Training) are a strong advantageWe welcome applications from individuals belonging to protected categories (Law 68/99) Why You'll Love It Here A permanent, full‐time role within a global leader in advanced manufacturing in strong growthA dynamic, international working environment driven by technological innovationThe opportunity to work with a unique mix of advanced technologies: additive manufacturing, CNC machining, injection moulding, and vacuum castingA structured training programme with access to technical training on AM systems and certifications from leading manufacturersDirect involvement in facility improvement and development projectsOpportunities for professional growth in an inclusive and respectful workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr
