Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy.
This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division. Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Configuration Management & Maintenance Support Specialist in Pratica di Mare, Airbase, Rome Italy. The successful candidate shall be a self-starter, highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Analyze SB/AD/PTA for applicability and material/manpower required in order to update the Maintenance Plan and plan the related incorporation on the fleet.
2. Participate to the routine coordination meeting with the engineering to review Service Bulletin, AD and PTA applicable to the Fleet
3. In collaboration with the Configuration management group, review the Maintenance Plan Document to update the Fleet Maintenance Plan
4. Collaborate to the elaboration of the Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker Fleet
5. Utilize disciplined technical expertise & company knowledge (not limited to SB/SL) to assist the customer to achieve & sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the KC767A by investigating product reliability, determine root cause analysis by developing, coordinating and recommending appropriate corrective actions
6. Support the planning of the Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan for the Italy Tanker Fleet
7. Elaborate Vectors to communicate technical inquiry to Italy Tanker Fleet Support Engineering or Logistic Engineering
8. Assist the customer in interpreting and using the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), interpreting servicing and maintenance support procedures
9. Act as the on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and the on-site Boeing PDM Configuration Management
Basic Qualifications:
10. 3+ Years Airline Engineering experience in support of the Continuing Airworthiness of the Fleet
11. 3+ years of Understanding of Maintenance Plan Document, Aircraft Service Bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives’ and Service letters
Preferred Qualifications/Experience and Person Specification:
12. Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and maintenance technical information (REDARS is a plus)
13. Work effectively and cooperatively with the team, managers, and members of others work groups; establish and maintain good working relationships
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
15. Fluency in English both written and spoken
16. Must be willing to work flexible hours as the job requires
17. Willing to get qualified as Supervisor for tank entry
18. Familiar with Boeing 767 aircraft AMM, IPC and MTC
19. Familiarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request systems (BCS, Vector)
20. Experience with the KC-767 Tanker
21. Belonging to “Categorie Protette” L.68/99 art.1
