Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Ensure occupied and vacant guestrooms and areas are cleaned and maintained to the exact Aethos Hotels standard and guidelines.
Remove all soiled linens and towels from rooms and store them on back landings.
Thoroughly clean guest bathrooms, walls, bathtubs, showers, and water closets using suggested chemicals, then dry all areas, fixtures, and surfaces.
Arrange all toiletries in a neat fashion on a cloth in occupied guestrooms.
Replenish all amenities and terry items.
Efficiently make beds to meet appearance standards.
Fold and arrange all clothing items in occupied guestrooms according to standard.
Maintain guest rooms and baths, including all inside windows and mirrors.
Remove all room‑service trays from guestroom hallways and corridors and bring them to back landings for pickup.
Vacuum guestroom carpets and wipe down furniture and baseboards according to standard in all assigned work areas.
Double‑check cleanliness of completed work areas and placement of amenities in each finished guestroom before moving to the next task.
Report missing, damaged, or substandard furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Prioritize workload according to guest requests.
Organize supply closets and work areas to ensure the Housekeeping Department operates efficiently.
Alert immediately when Lost & Found items are found.
Adhere to Do Not Disturb policy.
Maintain the working area clean, sanitized, and free of debris.
Core Competencies
Fluency in English and Italian is required.
Minimum of 2+ years of hospitality experience.
Collaborative teamwork and excellent communication skills.
Natural hospitality orientation and passion for the industry.
Strong research, organizational, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
