Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 38,900 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.For our Savigliano site in Italy, we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Competitiveness Manager.Purpose of the job:The Competitiveness Manager will be in charge of the platform, ensuring the completeness of the reference library and its continuous monitoring versus QCD objectives, managing competitiveness plans on the platform’s products, reference libraries and reference solutions, and supporting pre-tendering and tendering activities.Ensuring the completeness of the reference library and its continuous monitoring versus QCD objectivesManaging competitiveness plans on the platform’s products, reference libraries and reference solutionsSupporting pre-tendering and tendering activities and start of projects with reference librariesCollecting Return on Experience (ROE) on relevant projectsKey accountabilities:Competitiveness on Ref Lib, including building, driving and permanently challenging the Reference Library on QCD aspectsSupporting the Product or Solution manager in competitiveness action plans with all métiersCoordinating and presenting business cases of new competitiveness actionsSupporting the Product or Solution manager on demand for any costing activityThe Competitiveness Manager will also prepare and present Ref Lib reviews, support the Platform at pre-tendering and tendering stage, and hold reviews with bid cost managers to check QCD offering alignment with Ref Lib.Supporting the Platform cost manager in assessing quick costing, target costs, and target allocation to stakeholdersMonitoring gaps between Ref Lib and Tender solution, and proposing new competitiveness action plansSupporting Projects on cost analysis and competitiveness action plansParticipating in analysis and benchmark of competition offering with Platform Market and Portfolio directorPerformance measurements:Progress of Competitiveness action planCost monitoring of Ref Libs and delivery on timeQuality of Reference Library presentationEducational Requirements: Mandatory - Engineering degree and/or Business School.Experience: Mandatory - Minimum 5 years of experience in industry, with experience in Railway industry, Costing, Engineering, or Sourcing in similar industry, and Design To Cost.Technical requirements: Project Management and/or Industry background, ability to recognize product and associated costs, understanding of operational flows, and sufficient awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects.Behavioural requirements: Results and data driven, rigorous, able to give structure to collective team work, leadership to achieve results and benefits, collaborative management, and ability to deliver on-time.We offer an agile, inclusive and responsible culture where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
