Responsible for designing and implementing processes and controls to evaluate the profitability of our business at customer and product levels.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design and implement cost control and profitability analysis frameworks to evaluate the financial performance of our business at the customer and product levels.
* Develop and maintain financial models to analyze revenue, costs, and profitability across different customer segments and product lines.
* Identify areas of inefficiency and opportunities for cost reduction, and develop recommendations for improvement.
* Review Customer Rebate contracts and agreements focused in profitable growth opportunities.
* Define and calculate Customer Rebates & Allowances accruals for monthly reporting controlling activities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management on profitability and cost trends, highlighting key drivers and areas for improvement.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and other visualization tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in economics or related field of study. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum 1-5 years of relatable financial analyst experience; preferably in a similar industry (Automotive) or role.
* Proficient in English.
* ERP system experience.
* Microsoft Suite with advanced Excel preferred.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel, Access, and Business iIntelligence (PowerBI, Qlik).
* Broad knowledge of Controlling topics.
* Data analysis methodologies.
* Excellent attention-to-detail to maintain 100% accuracy on various parameters and reports.
* Highly organized with ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skill.
* Ability to work professionally with internal teams at various levels and comfortable with decision-making.
