**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations within the metalworking facility, including production, maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure targets are met.
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and sales, to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
- Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation to meet customer demands and optimize workflow.
- Implement and oversee maintenance programs to ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently and reliably.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, productivity, and quality to senior management.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within the metalworking or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of metalworking processes, machinery, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Solid understanding of process optimization, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in managing operations within a metalworking company or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience with cost control, budgeting, and financial management in a production setting.
