We are seeking a Process Development Engineer (F/M) for Downstream Chromatography Systems & Columns.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and lifecycle management of standard chromatography products developed at the Sartorius site in Pompey (54), ensuring technical performance and compliance with Quality requirements.
Grow with us - Your Responsibilities :
* Perform or assist in process sizing for standard chromatography products
* Implement and manage design improvements for existing chromatography products throughout their lifecycle by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (product Development, sourcing, Quality and manufacturing teams)
* Create and update P&IDs and Bill of Materials in PLM tools
* Define and modify process components required for product development and lifecycle management
* Test components and process functions on development equipment
* Generate process documentation (system specifications, test plans, SOPs)
* Actively contribute to safety in all activities.
What will convince us :
* Engineering Degree
* Minimum 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical product/equipment development and LifeCycle Management
* Good knowledge in downstream bioprocessing or chromatography system Development
* Comfortable working with automated equipment
* Good knowledge of ERP (SAP, Navision for example) and PLM (PTC Windchill for example) systems
* Experience with PID/BOM creation tools (Visio, Creo Schematics for example)
* Fluent English is mandatory because you will be in collaboration with cross-cultural teams (German is a plus)
* Willingness to travel occasionally (2-4 times per year) to Germany and the US.
