The successful candidate will maintain and support existing systems and workflows already established within the studio.This role provides hands-on experience in the operational management of an international artist studio, including studio coordination, database and archive maintenance, financial administration, and production and exhibition support.Key Responsibilities:Studio Operations & Coordination- Act as the main point of contact between the Artist, artisans, fabricators, suppliers, galleries, and partners.- Oversee daily studio administration and ensure operational continuity.- Track project timelines, priorities, and deadlines to maintain workflow efficiency.- Maintain organised studio systems, records, and documentation.Financial Administration- Process outgoing and incoming payments- Keep accurate records of invoices, receipts, payments, studio expenditures, and work production costs.- Support financial tracking and budget monitoring.- Prepare financial documentation for accountants in the UK and Italy.Project & Production Support- Assist with artworks, commissions, and exhibitions from planning through completion.- Coordinate production with artisans and fabricators, tracking schedules, progress, and costs.- Support artwork logistics, including packing, shipping, transport, and installation.Database, Archive & Inventory- Maintain accurate artwork and contact databases.- Organise and maintain physical and digital archives.Administrative & Studio Support- Provide personal and organisational support to the Artist as needed.- Contribute to the daily maintenance of the Studio space by organising materials and supplies.Communications, Press & Online Presence- Maintain organised records of contacts and press materials.- Assist with website updates and social media content when required.Requirements:- Proficient in English and Italian- Proactive problem-solver, highly organised, adaptable to fast-paced environments and shifting tasks.- Strong writing, proofreading, and attention to detail.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Editor- Occasional travel may be required.- Minor physical work involved, including handling and organising artworks and studio materials.- Degree in Art History or a related arts discipline preferred but not essential. xrtlpzc - This role is fully on-site, either at the Pietrasanta or London Studios.
