Goodyear. More Driven. The position will be in charge of the followiong responsibilities: - Act as communications leader in Italy by addressing internal and external audiences, such as journalists, influencers, associates, customers and institutions. As such the role is overall accountable for integrated communications planning and implementation in Italy, based on the EMEA Communications strategy. - Drive and execute communications priorities to support strong brands and corporate reputation, by developing local initiatives and leveraging on the different communication channels - Support the Marketing teams in developing and distributing the content through traditional and digital platforms to promote the Goodyear brands in both B2B and B2B landscapes. - Act as a communication advisor for Italy towards PBU & functional leadership and manage local communications programs designed to inform and energize associates. - Achieve correct positioning and perception of the company by having full accountability for all potential communication channels and influencing stakeholder groups through developing and protecting the image of the company. - Lead company Public Relations, Media Relations and Influencer Relations activities and proactively develop the positioning and perception of the company, people, products and brands. - Manage and drive communications projects in close alignment with EMEA Regional Communications Team. - Coordinate 1 resource Background and skills: - 5 years of relevant experience in corporate, internal and brand communications, ideally in Communication agencies and/or an ‘in-house’ leadership role within a complex matrix organization. - Previous team management experience. - A demonstrated record of experience in a role covering media relations and strategic communications - Good experience in communications crisis management - Experience of running communications campaigns - Previous experience in managing Government Affairs is a plus - Sound budget management skills - Excellent communication skills and very good presentation skills - Board meetings experience - Project management experience - Fluent English mandatory - Confident handling of MS Office - Excellent organizational and planning skills - Deep understanding of media both online and print. - Excellent communicator, strategic thinker, strong team player, customer focus, delivery focus, good networking skills. Change savvy. - Ability to easily shift from theory into execution. - Cultural sensitive, high level of integrity.
