The Business Manager role is responsible for the rhythm of the business, organizational planning, business reviews, managing team financials, budget planning, and aligning sales & delivery forecasting within the team. The role also plays a key part in communications and WHI initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Bring broad and deep business acumen, sound decision-making, and operational excellence. Manage and prioritize work, drive initiatives, and foster innovation across the business. Support the STU Leader in identifying trends, enabling problem-solving, mitigating risks, and addressing challenges to sustain and grow revenue and improve competitiveness. Coordinate high-impact work on short deadlines, requiring cross-group collaboration.
* Business Management
* Coordinate strategic planning processes and business reviews. Enhance leadership effectiveness through agenda setting, high-quality content, and readiness for customer and partner engagements. Support leadership in attracting, retaining, and developing talent, and improve organizational performance through internal communications and employee engagement. Assist in executing strategic initiatives and support the operating model.
* Deliver Revenues and Consumption Commitments
* Work with leaders to meet sales metrics, ensure revenue and consumption milestones are on track, and enable rolling 12-month pipeline planning.
* Change Management
* Drive change management activities to foster organizational culture, morale, and WHI.
* Champion Compliance
* Act as the escalation point for compliance issues and lead compliance actions within the organization.
Qualifications
* Required: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) with strong experience in financial management, business planning, operations, strategy, project management, human resources, or related roles, or equivalent experience.
* Preferred: Extensive experience in the above areas, or a Master's Degree in a relevant field with similar experience.
