We seek a results-driven individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly in the areas of mechanical engineering, electronics, and operations. \r\n\r\n System level activities related to the design and realization of Optical Ground Stations for Laser Communication and/or Satellite Laser Ranging, including: \r\n Establishment and maintenance of relevant performance budgets \r\n Analysis and simulation activities \r\n Contribution to integration and verification activities \r\n Contribution to experimental testing activities in the laboratory and/or field \r\n Identification and Coordination of subcontractors and supervision of their activities \r\n Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or physics \r\n Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in optical systems for laser communication \r\n satellite laser ranging \r\n laser beam propagation \r\n laser physics and photonics. \r\n Knowledge of MATLAB/Python/Octave \r\n Good English skills \r\n Laser physics and photonics \r\n Knowledge of software tool for the design and simulation of optical communication systems \r\n Experience with requirement management SW (DOORS and similar)\r\n\r\n Contract: permanent \r\n Working time: tempo pieno, hybrid as per the internal policy
