Responsibilities

The Commercial Real Estate Division (REL), part of Global Banking (GLBA), is responsible for providing financing solutions for professional investors in office, logistics, retail, hotel, and other real estate sectors, including multifamily, student accommodation, and nursing homes. REL maintains extensive relationships with real estate brokers, appraisers, rating agencies, debt providers, investors, insurers, and lawyers.

Tasks and responsibilities :
* Underwriting and structuring of commercial real estate structured finance transactions, including leading cashflow modelling.
* Assisting in structuring and executing real estate commercial mortgage loans, including drafting marketing pitches, termsheets, credit applications, and participating in marketing efforts.
* Participating, in collaboration with bank distribution teams, in the distribution of commercial mortgage loans via syndication or alternative routes using debt capital market techniques or ad-hoc structures based on investors' requirements.
* Monitoring deals in the book.
* Maintaining close contact with the CRE market and developing an understanding of real estate asset management strategies.
* Interacting with clients under supervision during transaction execution.
* Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulations.
* Participating in the origination of Real Estate advisory mandates.
* Conducting risk analysis considering transaction context, assets, legal, and tax environment.
* Performing financial analysis and modelling of projects.
Profile required
Studies & experience :
* Bachelor or Master degree from a top-ranked business or engineering college.
* Specialization in Commercial Real Estate is a plus.
* At least 2-4 years’ experience in Real Estate structured finance within banks, insurers, private equity, or property companies.
* Italian and/or Spanish: B2 level proficiency.
Technical, operational & soft skills :
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Understanding of the loan market, instruments, credit, and rates derivatives.
* Ability to create clear, structured, and compelling pitch materials.
