LHHis looking for a highly qualified professional to fill the role of Accounting& Tax Manager for the branch of a multinational company, reporting directlyto the CFO
Responsibilities
The candidatewill be directly responsible for:
- Leadingthe accounting Team, driving engagement and actively promoting innovation,digitalization and processes improvement in general;
- Coordinating and supervising all accounting, tax and related activities andtasks (e.G. general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables andcollection, treasury, monthly closing and reporting, tax obligations andformalities, etc.) ensuring their correctness, quality, timing and compliancewith tax and legal regulations, accounting principles and directives, beingalso an active performer;
- Ensurethe regular monitoring and reconciliation of all P&L, B/S and transitoryaccounts;
- Ensurethe Treasury Management and Banking Functions in accordance with legislative,regulatory and Treasury requirements;
- Ensurequality and timing of tax calculation, declaration and payment in coordinationwith external advisors;
- Ensurethe quality and timing of all activities related to the Transfer Pricing Policyapplied by the company, in coordination with Group Tax and external advisors;
- Statutoryfinancial statements preparation in coordination with external advisors;
- Management of corporate and accounting books, e.G. journal voucher, VAT;
- Management of the relationship with external auditors and advisors and othermain stakeholders;
- Beone ofthe Key Leaders and reference members within the finance department and themain Speaking Partner in relation to accounting & tax matters within theorganization;
- Beone ofthe Key Users of the finance system and a Key Actor in the implementation ofthe new ERP system
Your Profile
The Companywill consider applicants that meet the following requirements:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics;
- Minimum8-10 years of advanced experience in Accounting and Tax, preferably in localentities of multinational groups;
- Formerexperiences in Audit and/or as Team Leader are considered an important plus;
- Fluent inItalian and English both written and spoken;
- Highlevel of integrity and reliability;
autonomous, rigorous, accurate andstructured;
- Strongknowledge of Accounting and Tax related matters;
- Provenability to manage resources, direct and indirect;
- Analytical with continuous improvement mindset and ability to understand andchallenge status quo;
- Proactivewith own drive, able to take action and solve problems;
- Projectmanagement and organizational skills;
- Goodbusiness understanding, customer focus and responsiveness;
- Abilityto work both independently as well as in team and to build relationships;
- Very goodknowledge of MS Office applications;
- IDMSknowledge is considered a strong plus.
