The ideal candidate will work closely with product development, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful transition from design to mass production, while guaranteeing product compliance with safety standards and quality expectations. /ppstrongROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES /strong /pulliCollaborate with the RD and Engineering teams to ensure helmet designs are production ready ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency. /liliContribute to the development of manufacturing processes and tooling for new helmet models. /liliParticipate in prototyping, pre-series, and pilot production runs to evaluate manufacturability and suggest improvements. /liliConnect with suppliers and manufacturing partners to align on production standards and tolerances. /liliMonitor process capabilities and drive continuous improvements in production efficiency and cost-effectiveness. /li /ulpstrongQuality Assurance /strong /pulliDevelop and implement quality inspection protocols in process production and finished helmets. /liliConduct routine and random inspections to ensure compliance with international safety standards (e.g., ECE, DOT, CCC, FIM). /liliAnalyze defects, failures, and returns, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. /liliMaintain and update QC documentation, including test reports, audit checklists, and compliance records. /liliCollaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure consistent quality across batches. /li /ulpstrongCross-Functional Collaboration /strong /pulliAct as the technical liaison between design, manufacturing, and quality departments. /liliSupport supplier audits and technical visits when necessary. /liliContribute to risk assessments (e.g., FMEA) for new products and process changes. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliTechnical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar. /liliProven experience in industrialization and/or quality assurance, preferably in the helmets, sporting goods, automotive safety gear, or PPE industry. /liliKnowledge of helmet manufacturing processes (injection molding, composite layup, EPS forming) is a strong plus. /liliFamiliarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, product certification standards). /liliExperience with QC tools (e.g., SPC, 8D, CAPA) and industrialization methodologies. /liliFamiliar with testing equipment (impact testers, retention systems, environmental chambers). /liliHands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliAbility to read technical drawings and use inspection tools (calipers, gauges, CMM, etc.). /liliCertification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.Knowledge of regulatory testing protocols and certification processes. /liliExperience working with Asian and European suppliers. /liliAvailability to travel abroad and to potentially relocate to Asia eventually. /li /ulh3Other information /h3pstrongLocation: /strongItaly and then Asia (flexible) /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
