Customer Engineer (Solution Architect) - Italy - Remote
We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Engineer to join our team. As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, support, and guidance to our valued customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and implementing effective solutions. You will also play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by providing technical support throughout the sales process. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and engage with prospective customers to understand their needs, present solutions, and demonstrate the value of our products or services. This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers, and actively participate in the sales process from discovery to closing deals.
2. Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations that showcase our products or services' features, benefits, and value propositions.
3. Understand customer requirements and business challenges, and develop innovative solutions tailored to their needs.
4. Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, addressing questions, concerns, and objections during the pre-sales phase.
5. Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications that meet customer requirements and industry best practices.
6. Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements, identify opportunities for improvement, and stay updated on latest releases.
7. Conduct proof-of-concept activities to demonstrate solution feasibility, ensuring customer satisfaction and trust.
8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to position our products effectively.
9. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and engage with potential customers.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5+ years of relevant experience in Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering.
3. Strong technical background with proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales/technical sales role within the information security industry.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
5. Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with critical thinking and innovative solution development abilities.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
