This role will play a key part in the operational and tactical management of suppliers, contributing to cost, quality, and supply continuity objectives.ResponsibilitiesPurchasing & Operational SourcingManage the procurement process for electromechanical components (motors, heaters)Support the implementation of commodity strategies defined by the Commodity ManagerConduct supplier scouting and qualification activitiesManage RFQs, perform bid analysis, and lead commercial negotiationsSupplier ManagementMonitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery)Manage day‑to‑day relationships with key suppliersSupport improvement plans and corrective actionsCost Optimization & TCOContribute to cost reduction initiatives and Total Cost of Ownership optimisationAnalyze cost breakdowns and identify saving opportunitiesCollaborate with Engineering on value engineering activitiesCross‑functional CollaborationInterface with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Logistics teamsSupport new projects and New Product Introduction (NPI)Ensure material availability in line with production plansRisk & Continuity ManagementIdentify supply risks and propose mitigation actionsSupport dual sourcing strategies and business continuity plansQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field5–10 years of experience in purchasing/buyer roles within industrial environmentsSpecific experience with electromechanical components (motors, heaters, or similar)Good understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamicsExperience in supplier management and negotiationStrong analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis toolsFluency in Italian and EnglishNice to haveExperience in value engineering or TCO optimisation initiativesExperience in structured manufacturing companiesWhat we offerPermanent full‑time contractBenefits: Smart working, Company canteen, Competitive reward salaryWorkplace: Valbrembo (BG)Additional InformationSettore: Industria metalmeccanicaRuolo: AcquistiGestisce altre persone: NoTipo di occupazione: Contratto a tempo indeterminatoEEO StatementWe are committed to guarantee equal employment opportunities.
