The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth in Italy through effective channel strategy development and implementation. They collaborate with the Portfolio Development Manager to optimize the product portfolio, ensuring customer value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Forecasting
* Develop and update a business strategy aligned with yearly Work Plan and 5-year Work Plan (by product and channel)
* Collaborate with the Portfolio Development Manager to identify opportunities to strengthen Kollant offering and improve customer value delivery
* Constantly align short to mid-term financial and operational plans through monthly cycles of rolling forecast supported by K-For system
2. Operational Excellence
* Optimize sales cycle processes (from pricelists drafting, to order processing, invoicing and delivery) to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance with Adama group policies and procedures
* Ensure smooth execution of transactional cycle, from order intake to delivery
* Collaborate with the CFO to ensure transparent business tracking and with the IT manager to support the digitalization of transactional tasks
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to draft and implement communication campaigns and promotion activities for retail
* Collaborate with the Operation Manager and Supply Manager to ensure alignment and updating of manufacturing plans
* Collaborate with the Product Specialist to train agents and customers on Kollant solutions benefits
* Collaborate with the Quality Manager to foster product and service improvement
3. Business Development and Customer Management
* Continuously explore potential opportunities to grow the business
* Develop and implement a compelling value proposition for different customer segments
* Ensure excellent customer experience and winning competitive performance by coordinating and supervising all commercial activities in Italy
* Continuously align commercial policy with the company tactical and strategic goals
* Draft and transparently manage the product price list to meet profitability targets and maintain a competitive positioning in the market
4. Team Leadership
* Deploy the agents' team to ensure adequate footprint
* With the Channel Managers' support, lead, manage and coach the agents' team to ensure commercial activities effectiveness and valued customer support delivery
* Develop the agents' technical and commercial skills
* Lead, manage and coach the sales support team to provide effective and efficient workload management
* Attract and develop talents
* Manage team members' performance and compensation according to Adama group policies
This role requires a Master Degree in scientific or economic background, ten years experience in commercial roles, five years experience in leading a team, professional and/or consumer pest control + plant care industry knowledge, fluency in Italian, English is nice to have, and ability / willingness to travel across the country according to business needs.
