The role is focused on the development and industrialization of innovative materials and compounds fortruck tyre applications, working at the intersection of laboratory research, industrial processes, and supplier collaboration. If you are passionate about materials, polymers, and innovation—and you enjoy turning laboratory data into real industrial solutions—this could be the right opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities Act as atechnical interface with raw material suppliers, supporting material selection, validation, and innovation. Performchemical and physical characterizationof raw materials and compounds, using advanced laboratory methodologies and technologies. Develop compounds for truck tyre applications, managing the process from laboratory development through industrialization. Carry outreverse engineering activities, analyzing competitor products to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning. Read, interpret, and contribute to technical patentsrelated to innovative materials for tyre applications. Work in close collaboration withProcurement, Quality, Industrialization, Product Development, and Testingteams. Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the Materials R&D area.Requirements Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a PhD in a related field. Experience in thechemical or polymer industry. Strong knowledge ofchemical reactions, synthesis, and material characterization techniques. Good command of theMS Office suite. Fluency inItalian and English. Knowledge ofChineseis considered a plus. Pragmatic and flexible, comfortable working acrossHQ and industrial plant environments. Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
