We are seeking a Freelance PR Manager based in Switzerland to support brand communication and public relations activities across the region. The role will focus on strengthening brand visibility, managing media relationships, and supporting the execution of PR strategies within the fashion and lifestyle sector. The PR Manager will work closely with the marketing team to coordinate media outreach, press coverage, influencer collaborations, and brand events. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships within the fashion, lifestyle, and luxury media landscape in Switzerland, along with experience managing PR initiatives for internationally recognized brands. Key Responsibilities Media Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key fashion, lifestyle, and luxury media across Switzerland. Manage media outreach including pitching stories, securing editorial coverage, and coordinating interviews. Identify opportunities for press placements across print, digital, and broadcast media. Maintain and update local media contact lists.
PR Strategy & Execution
Support the execution of brand PR strategies in alignment with global and regional marketing initiatives. Coordinate press releases, media briefings, and brand announcements. Monitor media coverage and report on PR performance and visibility. Identify opportunities to enhance brand positioning within the fashion and lifestyle industry.
Influencer & Talent Engagement
Support collaborations with influencers, stylists, and industry talent. Coordinate product placements, seeding initiatives, and influencer partnerships. Track and report the impact of influencer and talent engagement activities.
Events & Brand Activations
Support the planning and execution of press events, brand launches, and media activations. Coordinate invitations, press attendance, and event-related media coverage. Liaise with agencies, event partners, and venues where required.
Showroom & Product Communications
Coordinate product samples and press requests where applicable. Support media previews, showroom appointments, and editorial product placements. Ensure consistent communication of brand messaging and storytelling.
Qualifications & Experience Experience
4–7 years of experience in public relations within fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brands. Strong network within Swiss fashion and lifestyle media. Experience managing PR initiatives for international brands. Prior experience working in PR agencies or brand-side communications roles is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of the fashion and luxury media landscape in Switzerland. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently in a freelance capacity while collaborating with regional teams. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple PR initiatives simultaneously.
