•Disassemble, troubleshoot, inspect, evaluate, and assemble components to OEM standard.
•Compile accurate component analysis and reports
•Maintain professional image when representing BWE
•Warranty, REMAN returns
•Compile component condition / failure reports

•Inspect, Repair and Maintain CAT equipment
•Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR's) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA's)
•Maintain professional image when representing BWE
•Ensure safe work practice
•Control Contamination
•Control own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
•Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
•Matric or equivalent
•Qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
•Component specific technical knowledge and skills
•Sound interpersonal and communication skills
•Basic technical report writing
•Basic business and financial understanding
•Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
•Component rebuilding experience – minimum 5 years
•Applicable product knowledge
•Drivers licence – Code C1
•Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures
•Understanding of the MHSA
