ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer serves as the technical reference point for all production-related activities and phases throughout the product lifecycle. This role oversees and supports every critical stage of the manufacturing process — from initial design and development through industrialization, production optimization, and ongoing process improvement.
Operating within a highly specialized precision forging environment, the successful candidate will drive manufacturing efficiency by coordinating technical activities across the entire value chain (forging, finishing, and packaging), ensuring full compliance with process parameters, customer specifications, and industrial quality standards (ISO 13485).
The role also acts as the key technical interface between internal departments and external suppliers/partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
Define manufacturing processes and product improvements in collaboration with Forging Shift Leaders, Finishing Coordinators, Designers, and Tooling teams
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and process parameter sheets required for production
Manage product and process data within ERP systems (BOMs, routings, technical data, dimensions, images, scans, etc.)
Act as the primary technical interface between internal departments and external suppliers for assigned components
Support customer communication together with Project Managers to ensure alignment on timelines, costs, and technical requirements
Collaborate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product conformity and support validation activities
Coordinate with Production Planning and Finishing teams to schedule prototyping activities and process improvement initiatives
