Production Supervisor – Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy
We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!
Responsibilities
- Production management in order to ensure the timely delivery of products with the required efficiency and quality in compliance with safety requirements and other requirements set by IMS and set goals.
- Financial management of production, including budgeting and controlling.
- Ensuring health and safety and environmental requirements.
- Management of specific production areas with regard to corporate objectives, section objectives, departmental objectives.
- Acquaintance with the needs and requirements of other stakeholders.
- Communication and effective human resources management.
- Actively participates in production capacity planning and production plan.
- Manages production and monitors the fulfillment of production efficiency, delivery quality, delivery time, safety at work and other set indicators measuring the performance of production operations.
- Actively uses the MRP system – ensures the transparency of production and up-to-date information about production.
- Manages human resources in accordance with the production plan and in cooperation with HR.
- Prepares action plans and monitors their implementation on the basis of the actual situation, performance indicators, tactical and strategic plans set for production, regularly reports in accordance with the communication plan and defined action plans.
- Manages production and other related activities in order to achieve the highest efficiency and cost management in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Provides internal logistics activities.
- Creates the budget and financial plans for the production unit and individual improvement / investment and saving projects.
- Monitors departmental needs and controls costs.
- Ensures a standard working environment, constantly improves working conditions and overall employee satisfaction.
- When implementing a new project / new or transferred products / processes, it adheres to the set system with emphasis on the implementation of lean manufacturing elements.
- Manages sorting and repair operations in accordance with quality instructions, engineering or other stakeholders.
- Ensures the development of human resources in accordance with the division / corporate strategic and tactical goals and objectives of the department.
- Ensures regular communication within the department as well as with other departments of the division.
- Performs all other activities related to the agreed type of work according to the instructions of the superior.
- Follows the procedures, rules and principles of the integrated management system.
- Operates in accordance with the rules of international trade of the ITC.
- Works in accordance with the principles of lean manufacturing, and 5S.
Qualifications
- High school in a technical field.
- 3-4 years of experience with a similar position.
- English language: intermediate.
- Knowledge of the basics of production management and the principles of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of IS – including MRP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Presentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of effective human resources management.
- Effective communication skills.
- High level of Safety consciousness, good knowledge of local safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in using Oracle beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility, ability to make decisions, willingness to take risks, creativity, systematic approach, leadership skills.
