BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Italy.
Responsibilities
* Provide first and second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues.
* Communicate promptly regarding issue status and resolutions.
* Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010; familiarity with Cisco Jabber is a plus.
* Have basic knowledge of Mac OS to support Apple PC users.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and hardware.
* Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
* Conduct remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
* Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware/software issues.
* Possess broad IT experience with understanding of networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
* Ability to work in a project-based environment requiring flexibility and teamwork; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Valid work permit.
* Extensive IT and computer knowledge.
* Several years of relevant experience preferred.
* Italian language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
