We are looking for an ambitious student to join us as a Business Intelligence Engineer intern. This six‑month internship will place you at the heart of our core consumer business, working in a flexible schedule that meets your university’s placement scheme.
At Amazon, you’ll solve complex problems and troubleshoot products, developing test strategies, finding bugs, and innovating on behalf of our customers. You will work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and contribute to one of the world’s most visited e‑commerce sites.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Develop analytical solutions to business problems with rigorous data integrity and best practices in reporting and analysis.
* Write high‑quality code to retrieve and analyze data.
* Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand broader context.
* Design pragmatic analyses and automated metrics that add value to your business area.
* Understand data resources and determine when and what to use.
* Develop exploratory or fully formed analyses that serve business objectives.
* Align your work with business objectives and deliver business value.
* Continuously improve your knowledge of Amazon’s business and relevant data resources.
A Day in the Life
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you build data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and deliver metrics and insights to the business. You tackle complex large‑scale computing challenges, work in small teams across the company, and contribute to the e‑commerce platform used by millions worldwide.

Basic Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in or has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week for a maximum of six months.
Preferred Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in or has completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Knowledge of BI analytics, reporting, or visualization tools such as Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Cognos, or similar.
* Experience with data querying or modeling using SQL or Excel.
