What You Will DoWe are seeking a Project Execution Manager for our Controls (BMS) line of business to lead a team of Project Managers and ensure the achievement of assigned operational and financial targets at country level. The role is accountable for driving profitable growth, optimizing execution processes, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. In addition to people leadership, the role requires hands‐on capability in managing complex BMS projects, including full responsibility for budget, planning, resources, and risk management, and will proactively contribute to the Service Conversion of the installed base.
How You Will Do It
Review project requirements, workload, and priorities; allocate projects effectively to Project Managers
Supervise and support project execution across the assigned portfolio, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, cost, and quality
Monitor project and portfolio performance, including progress, financial results, and outcomes
Identify, assess, and manage project and portfolio risks, including major claims and escalations
Directly manage one or a few projects if/when required
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Ensure team efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lean execution to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and claim management under pressure
What We Look For
10+ years of Project Management experience
(PMP, APM, IPMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred)
5+ years of technical expertise in BMS and/or network protocols and systems
2+ years of people management experience
Customer obsession and proven ability to:
Make decisions under pressure
Negotiate complex claims
Solve operational and commercial issues effectively
Strong leadership mindset with the ability to build and maintain a positive work environment
Fluent English (spoken and written); Italian proficiency is an advantage
Engineering degree required
Willingness to travel up to 60%, mainly within Italy
