About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Drydock Project Manager to lead and coordinate drydock projects for offshore support vessels. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all stages of drydock projects from preparation to completion.
* Act as technical representative for clients during drydock execution.
* Coordinate with shipyards, subcontractors, and classification societies to ensure smooth project execution.
* Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project.
* Conduct pre-docking inspections and supervise dry-docking activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Superintendent, Vessel Manager, or similar role.
* Proven track record of managing drydock projects, specifically for offshore support vessels.
* Strong understanding of surveyor processes and requirements, including interaction with classification societies and regulatory bodies.
* Familiarity with project planning and management principles, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk identification.
* Experience with building dry-docking specifications.
