Accenture Procurement Plus is seeking an experienced and driven Category Manager – Technology to lead our Italian technology category operations. This role plays a critical part in executing global and regional strategies at a local level, ensuring value delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and supplier performance across the Technology category.
As the Manager for Technology, you will be responsible for:
- Lead implementation of the global/regional Technology category strategy at the country/market unit level, leading and developing local category Procurement Plus Technology team and initiatives
- Implementing global and regional sourcing strategies within the local market, driving cost savings, service excellence, and compliance and support local business planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making
- Support pipeline planning and forecasting of sourcing activities and implement supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure effective contract implementation and usage of preferred buying channels and Design RFPs and conduct competitive sourcing processes
