PpWe are looking for a Laboratory Technician – Combustion Systems Development Laboratory Operations to join our Downstream Team to ensure the seamless management of our combustion laboratory (Tenova LAB), the development and design of combustion systems and burners, the execution of tests and related reports, and a sound filing system in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOperational laboratory management: manage the plant on-site, supervise daily operations, monitor system parameters and perform technical interventions. /li liTest bench setup: Prepare test rooms, equipment, and measurement systems required for experimental activities. /li liTest execution: Conduct combustion tests with other technicians, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. /li liReporting: Draft detailed reports following the tests. /li liMaintenance coordination: Plan and oversee ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities, liaising with internal and external service providers. /li liSafety procedures: Draft, update, and enforce operational and safety procedures in compliance with applicable regulations. /li liEquipment data management: Maintain up-to-date records of installed equipment and instrumentation and ensure the update and proper management of the burner archive and historical data. /li liRD activities: Design, develop and optimize combustion systems and burners, including the design of prototypes and custom‑made burners for specific projects. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liTechnical/ITS diploma (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Thermotechnical) or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or similar). /li li2-3 years of experience in technical laboratories or experimental plants, preferably in the energy, thermal systems, or combustion sector. /li liKnowledge of combustion principles and thermal plant operation. /li liExperience with measurement instruments and data acquisition systems. /li liBasic electrical and/or mechanical maintenance skills. /li liFamiliarity with safety standards in industrial/lab environments. /li liExperience with maintenance or inventory management software (ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 certified environments, gas technician certification or electrical safety training such as PES/PAV equivalent). /li liKnowledge of 2D and 3D mechanical design and of PLM software (Autocad and Inventor). /li liStrong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently. /li liTeamwork and collaboration in multidisciplinary environments. /li liAttention to detail, organizational skills, and problem‑solving attitude. /li liFluent in English, written and spoken. /li liWillingness to travel. /li /ul pWorkplace: Castellanza /p pInterested candidates in the position please apply by the Career section on Tenova website ( /p pJob ID:. /p h3Seniority level /h3 ul liEntry level /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liFull-time /li /ul h3Job function /h3 ul liMining /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
