PTitle: Professional Services Technical ConsultantbrLocation: Milan, ITAbrAs a Hospitality Technical Consultant - Professional Services, you will work in a team environment to design, configure and deliver NCR software and hardware solutions. In this role, you will be working with a variety of cutting-edge restaurant technologies such as contactless ordering and payment solutions, e-commerce, guest engagement and loyalty solutions, restaurant branded mobile apps as well as traditional point of sale, reporting and payment technologies that restaurants require to run their business. This role will report to one of our PS Partners.brPOSITION SUMMARY KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:brThis is a customer-facing technology consulting role, requiring 4 days in presence at Customers' offices, specifically responsible for identifying client business requirements and configuring NCR software and hardware solutions to meet customer needs and drive business value. This role requires a combination of responsibilities and skills that enable a candidate to instill confidence in our expertise in implementing NCR solutions and generally bringing restaurant technology initiatives into a rollout for large restaurant brands.brSpecific Responsibilities include:br* Hardware configuration and integration testing and troubleshootingbr* Testing checklist creation and executionbr* Gather and document client requirements via a series of in-person or virtual meetings and presentationsbr* Develop and configure the solution to meet the client's needsbr* Test the solution jointly with client teams in preparation for deploymentbr* Create internal as well as external training materials for personnel that will use the solutionbr* Work with other areas of the organization and the client to successfully deploy the solution to many locations (up to several thousand restaurants)br* Provide front-line feedback to product development on enhancement ideas and software issuesbr* Act as a point of escalation to triage and isolate the cause of complex technical issuesbr* Produce knowledge management documents to assist others in problem-solvingbr* Proactively seeks to learn the NCR products and diagnostic toolsbrBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:br* Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in software and hardware implementation or a technology consulting environmentbr* High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experiencebr* Networking knowledgebr* Microsoft clients and servers systems knowledgebr* Windows scriptingbr* Demonstrate clear and concise verbal, and written and presentation skillsbr* Demonstrate technical aptitude and a consultative approach with existing and prospective customersbr* Intermittent Travel to client locations is requiredbr* High energy, self-starter that pays attention to deadlines and takes ownership of assignments and client issuesbr* Possess great people skills and provide value to our clientsbr* Good communication skills in Italian mother tongue / full proficiency in English is a must.brPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:br* Experience in a restaurant or larger hospitality food service industry Hospitality or Retail environment, either working in the industry or servicing customers within the industrybr* Previous experience working with a Consulting organizationbr* Restaurant Point of Sale knowledge and experiencebr* Experience with implementing SaaS solutionsbr* Experience with microservice technology architecture /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
