Ph3Overview /h3pExperteer OverviewIn this role you will own the end-to-end delivery and continuous improvement of the Synthetics product line, including the Virtual Platform, Synthetic Environment, and Simulation Framework. You will drive interoperability across tools and hardware, ensure robust VV, and manage lifecycle activities from concept to training. You will work with cross-domain partners to align roadmaps, standards, and data governance in a digital-thread driven environment. This is a senior, impact-oriented position shaping multi-domain simulation capabilities for complex defence programs. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliOwn delivery and evolution of Synthetics products and services (VP, SE, Simulation Framework, scenario libraries, and analytics tools) /liliProvide expertise in modeling and simulation, co-simulation, distributed simulation, and HIL/SIL/MIL integration /liliTranslate needs into roadmaps, plans, and backlogs across operational analysis, design, integration, testing, certification, and training /liliAdvise on best practices for model development, VV, data correlation, configuration management, and governance /liliDefine and deploy processes linking with Digital Thread, PLM, test management, and data lake; coordinate with Parent Companies and Domains /liliEnsure on-time, on-scope delivery within budget and quality targets (fidelity, determinism, latency, frame rate) /liliManage upgrades, obsolescence, toolchain refresh, model baselines, and cloud/on-premise environments /liliCapture requirements across partners to drive convergence on toolsets and methods /liliCommunicate vision, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical audiences; provide transparent release notes and roadmaps /liliDevelop workforce initiatives and training materials to standardize processes and methods /liliLiaise with DED Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and Engineering Stakeholders /liliDesign domain and supply-chain integration with simulator hardware providers, model suppliers, and system integrators /liliLead business change to embed digital thread practices and enablement materials /liliEnsure compliance with enterprise standards, data models, metadata, and VV status tagging /liliSupport regulatory, safety, quality, and audit requirements with traceability from models to tests and certification /liliEmbed configuration management and release governance for models, scenarios, and interfaces /liliCoordinate delivery across internal teams, partners, suppliers, and enabling functions with clear ownership and interfaces /liliMonitor service performance, fidelity, risks, and dependencies; drive continuous service improvement /liliBalance immediate delivery with long-term architecture and data strategy; maintain modular, scalable, secure simulation capabilities /liliEnsure interoperability across tools and simulator hardware across pillars and domains /liliSupport technology vendors, system integrators, cloud providers, and simulator hardware suppliers; contribute to POC and tool selection /liliDrive technology innovation (CI/CD for models, containerization, GPU acceleration, AI-assisted scenario generation, MBSE integration) /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMinimum 5 years in a similar defence or aerospace role, ideally in modeling and simulation or synthetic environments /liliDegree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline /liliService Management certification or ITIL experience /liliProject or Programme Management qualification (APM, Prince2) or demonstrable complex delivery experience /liliHands-on knowledge of synthetics technologies (simulation frameworks, virtual platforms, distributed simulation, HIL/SIL/MIL) /liliProven track record delivering modeling and simulation solutions in multi-partner environments /liliStrong understanding of engineering processes, data governance, and digital thread principles /liliExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, system integrators) /liliAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across domains /liliStrong delivery mindset with experience in waterfall, agile, or hybrid models /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement, with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
